An awesome video about Japanese train system. The level of precision is amazing. But besides that, I think Singapore has a lot to learn especially about the cleaning and maintenance of trains and tracks. Without which, even top notch quality trains would wear out soon.

Weekend Wind Down: VAIO Duo
Sony always have the coolest gadgets! Came across this and I’m impressed, though I’m not really an illustrator. This software can make you draw like a pro!
Where Wonder Blooms
So this year on Dennis’ birthday, I decided to bring him to Gardens by the Bay. We were pleasantly surprised at beautiful architecture and the variety of plants and flowers at this place! We’re beginning to run out of places to go in tiny Singapore so we’re visiting all the tourist-y places!
Made a layout to document this beautiful day! 🙂
Love the January Oh Deer Me kit and I’m telling myself I should not hoard those pretty embellishments so I’ll try my best to finish everything before the next month’s kit arrives.
Love that I have a new stamp set every month! Also tucked the ticket stubs behind the photos. I love collecting all my ticket stubs (including cinema ones!)
Paper clips! You can never go wrong with them! 😉
Hope you enjoy the pink, teal & grey combination. I think I will be making lots of layouts with this colour combination. Love it!
Weekend Wind Down: Let It Go
It is true that for the first half of the year (Jan to Jun), things are relatively slower. Not too many events to attend, not a lot of work to be done, not much orders in my shop.
So I spend more time surfing the net and scrapbooking of course!
I’m gonna share a favourite every weekend. Hopefully I can keep up! 😀
For this week, I really enjoyed this video where this talented man sings Let It Go! I know I know, there’s been lots of hype about this song. I don’t particularly fancy this song but I’m just amazed at this man. I especially love Winnie’s voice! 😀 Enjoy!
Monthly Project Life
Hello! After lots of consideration, I’ve decided to start a monthly Project Life this year! Usually Project Life is on a weekly basis where you document what happened in your life in that week. At the end of the year, you’ll have an album (or a few, depending on how much you scrap) to look back on.
Read more about PL on Becky’s website here! She’s the creator! 🙂
I love love love that idea! But documenting every week sounds too overwhelming for me. Furthermore I don’t take many photos so I might not have that many photos to scrap about.
Hence I’ve decided to do monthly pages! It’s less stressful for me, and I can document the things that I want to remember during that month. It’s already March now but I’ve just made my January page. All’s good though – better late than never right? 😉
I used Mama Elephant’s stamp for the title page. My stamping is not perfect but I decided I can live with that. I also started subscription with Freckled Fawn’s Oh Deer Me kits so I’m determined to use the embellishments on my pages!
Love the puffy stickers and cute heart wood veneers from Oh Deer Me January kit!
The stamp set from the kit comes with lots of cute images. Like this clock face! Also added some hexagon stickers from Studio Calico. My one little word for 2014 is ‘Declutter’. So I’m trying very hard to control my spendings and instead, use up my stash! 🙂
The other page only has 3 photos. Told ya I seldom take photos!
Tried to keep the pages with similar colours to maintain some consistency. Mainly used pink, teal and orange.
Love this filler page with a printable. I forgot where I got it from but it should be somewhere on my Pinterest.
Spot the camera paper clip on the right! I love Freckled Fawn’s paper clips. They’re just too adorable. And the colours are perfect!
Hope you enjoyed the pages! Have a great day & see you soon! 🙂
Home Is Where
…I’m with you! 😀
Made this layout to document our good times in Hualien, Taiwan. Love the magnificent view of the mountains & greenery. We look so tiny against nature’s greatness! 🙂
I wanted to create some faux stitch lines but didn’t have a circle template that was big enough. So my circle ended up looking like an oval instead. All’s good though, it’s part of the scrapbooking process!
I also realized my flair buttons are rusting! 😦 It’s probably due to the humidity in Singapore. I better start using them up soon!
Created this long title with Amy Tangerine & October Afternoon alpha stickers. Spot some embellishments (Travel Knick-knacks) which I created! You can buy them from my shop! 😀
That’s all from me today. Have a great day ahead! 🙂
Customized Cards Orders – Feb’14
Hello, we’re in the first week of March so I guess it’s time for Feb’14 collection of customized cards orders!
I had so much fun making cards for all occasions but the most common has got to be birthday cards!
First up, cards for the special 21st birthdays! 😀
Other birthday cards. You can customize the colour theme of these cards & the words you want on the card front!
Non-birthday ones.
Dennis also requested for 2 special cards for this dance instructors.
Drop me an email if you would like to customize a card too! My email is dancingquinnshop@gmail.com. Hope to hear from you soon! (:
A Wild Birthday
I’m super late in posting this but I finally finished scrapping my birthday page. It’s in PL style because I thought I could squeeze more photos like this. And squeeze I did.
Look at the crazy amount of embellishments and details! After I’m done, I took a look at the page and felt overwhelmed. I shall practice more self restraint. Hehe.
It was as though I couldn’t leave any “white space”. Eeeks!
I love all the animals in this corner! I have a little description beside each animal to document my favs.
Lastly, just 2 photos from the River Safari because we didn’t manage to get the cruise tickets. Hence there was nothing much to see. The main attraction was, of course, the 2 pandas – Kai Kai and Jia Jia! I also love the red panda. He looks so cute just lazing on a branch.
Fun fact: red panda (aka firefox) is also the logo of Mozilla Firefox! 😀
That’s all from me today! I can’t believe it’s midweek already. 2 more days to the weekend! 😀
New Washi Tapes
Wow I haven’t been updating my Etsy shop for quite some time. Here’s a new collection of washi tapes just listed!
First up, some basic chevrons. We all need those in our stash right? I love the woodgrain one too!
Next, red and navy. This is such a perfect combination – great for happy mails and travel related scrapbooking.
Here are some essentials. You can never go wrong with black & white! The numbers are so cute for birthdays, countdowns, or making lists!
Last but not least, some random patterns that are fun and cute!
Hope you like them and do visit my Etsy to purchase them! 😀 See you there!
